They called in sick at 5am

A Guzman y Gomez manager watched a cook call in sick. He answered, opened Tanda, found coverage, called staff one by one. Twenty minutes gone. The venue was already in the weeds.

That loop is the product.

The week vs the hole in Saturday

Rostering software is good at the week you can see on a calendar. It is bad at the 5:12am phone call that blows a hole in Saturday. Tanda, Deputy, 7shifts, Homebase — they all have swaps in the app. Staff still phone the store.

Sofia is the number they call instead.

Talks. Rules write.

She identifies the caller. She confirms the shift. She ranks cover with the same rules Auto-Fill already uses: qualified, available, under hours, rested. She texts the next person. On yes, she writes Tanda (or the native roster) and publishes. The manager gets a digest, not a conversation.

The language model talks. The policy engine writes. If the rules cannot decide, she escalates.

Each store has its own number after you subscribe. This site does not publish a line to call. $200 a store, unlimited heads — the shift-leader seat, not another per-seat tax.

Cover extra hands you do not employ remain a waitlist. We will not mix those stories.

If you run a store that already lives in Tanda, you do not have to rip it out. That is the point.
