Payroll

A draft from hours you already approved

Payroll prepares a per-store draft from approved hours, paid leave, and till tips when those products are on. It does not lodge tax or write a bank file.

Payroll

What does Payroll include?

Payroll builds a draft pay run for one store from hours, paid leave, and till tips already in Sofia, and only when that sibling product is on. An admin approves the draft and can mark it paid. Gross is book-currency cents. It does not lodge tax, super, or Single Touch Payroll, and it does not write a bank file. The timesheet CSV on Timesheets stays whether or not Payroll is on.

What can go into a draft

Each source is read only when that product is on. Hours can be typed when Time is off.

It does not lodge tax or write a bank file. You pay people in the system you already use.

The file you import

Sofia does not sync to Xero, KeyPay, Gusto, or ADP. The CSV is yours to import. Currency stays the last column.

Approve, mark paid, or reopen

An admin approves a draft and can mark it paid. An approved run can be reopened to draft. A paid run stays as it was. Timesheets refuse an edit that overlaps an approved or paid run for that store.

  • One store, or a pass across stores that are not already approved or paid
  • My pay lists the rows that add up to the gross, including each premium
  • Paid runs are not reopened
  • New runs stop when Payroll is off. Runs already saved stay
